There was quite a long walk to our Hotel. There were views of misty mountains, snow on the tips, a light blinking on one of the peaks and with the sun already setting, it was quite magical and unreal.
There is not an item of outdoor furniture I have not tried. Some are better than others. I have heard other mutterings about cat hair on the furniture ( I am a long hair after all ) and I do my best to keep myself well groomed.
My name is Campbell. Angus Campbell. The cat next door is pushing his luck. Up to now we have sat apart, me growling deep in my chest, him just looking. When he poked his nose inside the door however, I launched myself. It was loud. I think I spooked him because this is my patch. He will learn. I can look after myself.
The food was delicious – my mistake was not taking the vegetarian option.
The venue, ambience and entertainment was first class.
Well recommended. Congratulations Vue Grand and Players.
There is an uneasiness to this tale. It’s there at the start. How good is this? To draw the reader in, through all the nasty, abnormal bodily functions. You know you will have to wade through, knee deep in it – literally – to find your way out! Is this based on true life? I think so.
Star Wars wouldn’t be the same without the humour – the one-liners, the looks, the audience laughed out loud at all the right places. I heard a rumour that Daniel Craig ( aka James Bond ) was in a brief scene as a Storm Trooper, so began a scrutinising of all Storm Troopers. The outdoor/indoor haven has simply grown there! There is garden incense, little bird ornaments, a calming ambience and room on the little table for a cooling beverage. I can hear the ice cubes clinking. The umbrella has no purpose – it is for effect only as I sit here, book in hand, thankful I have a break from tours whilst admiring the bird bath and sweating in the tropical-like heat.
Pauline Campbell was in charge of a bus load of British tourists from the cruise liner Spirit of Adventure, which anchored off Geelong last week.
“ Just a little prick “ and with those words, MI6 Quartermaster ( Q ) Ben Whishaw, sets up his persona for the duration of this latest James Bond blockbuster, SPECTRE. There is much more to him than lovable Desmond Llewelyn’s portrayal through all the previous Bond movies. He’s unknowable and a bit mysterious. Spectre […]
At home, I gazed with growing horror, at the red, raised, angry looking rash still erupting over areas of my body. Legs, arms, shoulder, wherever those gorgeous lotions of the Gods had touched. A more unsettling feeling added to my anxiety as I read the label of the cream she had recommended. Underneath the advice – “ kills germs, numbs local pain, eases swelling and redness (so far so good ), soothes the affected area ‘ was this gem.
